Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 September 2026

These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Where Apple’s EULA applies and conflicts with these Terms, Apple’s EULA controls.

1. Licence and use

TradieMargin is provided as a business productivity tool for creating quotes, invoices, estimates, expense records, reminders and related business information. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Standard EULA.

2. Quotes, calculations and business decisions

TradieMargin performs calculations using information and rates entered by the user. Results are estimates and are not financial, accounting, tax, legal, engineering, licensing or professional advice. You are responsible for checking prices, tax treatment, legal requirements, licence requirements and the accuracy of documents before sending or relying on them.

3. TradieMargin Pro subscriptions

TradieMargin may offer auto-renewable monthly and annual Pro subscriptions. The exact price, billing period, trial eligibility and local currency are shown by Apple before purchase.

4. User data and backups

TradieMargin is designed to store business records locally. You are responsible for maintaining backups of information you need to retain. Removing the app, clearing app data, device failure or other events may result in data loss where no backup exists.

5. Photos and content

You are responsible for content, photos, customer details, business logos and other information you add to the app. Do not use TradieMargin to store or distribute content you do not have the right to use.

6. Find a Tradie directory

TradieMargin may provide a public directory where businesses can submit listing information. Businesses are responsible for ensuring their listing is accurate, current and authorised. A listing does not amount to endorsement, verification of workmanship, licensing, insurance, availability or suitability by TradieMargin.

Directory listings may be reviewed, rejected, edited for formatting, paused or removed where reasonably necessary for accuracy, safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention or operation of the service. Search position is not guaranteed. The directory may include businesses in multiple countries. Businesses and customers remain responsible for complying with licensing, tax, consumer, advertising and other local laws that apply in their country, state, province or region.

Directory listing levels

Founding Tradie launch offer: while the launch promotion is open, the first 500 approved eligible businesses may receive a six-month directory upgrade without providing card details. Approval positions 1–100 may receive Premium Featured; positions 101–500 may receive Premium. Approval order, not form-submission order, determines position. A Founding Tradie badge may remain after the promotional period ends. Unless another eligible arrangement is active, an expired launch promotion may revert to Free.

TradieMargin Pro benefit: an active eligible TradieMargin Pro subscriber may receive Premium Featured directory status without a separate directory featured fee while eligibility is verified and maintained. If eligibility ends, the listing may revert to a lower level unless another applicable listing arrangement is active.

Promotions are subject to availability, eligibility, review and these Terms. TradieMargin may end a promotion for new applicants once the stated allocation is filled. Paid directory pricing, where offered, will be shown before purchase. TradieMargin may change directory features, eligibility rules and ranking logic over time. Relevance, location and other quality factors may still affect search results, so Featured status does not guarantee first position for every search.

Post a Job and Job Feed

Customers may be able to post a job without charge. Job posts must be genuine, lawful and reasonably accurate. TradieMargin may match job posts with directory businesses using information such as trade, services, country, location and work areas. Matching is automated and does not guarantee suitability, availability, a quote or a response.

TradieMargin may initially limit how many businesses can express interest in a job. Customer contact details are not intended to be displayed in the tradie Job Feed. A customer may choose whether to contact an interested business after reviewing its profile. Businesses must not misuse job information, harass customers, scrape jobs or use the Job Feed for spam. Customers and businesses remain responsible for checking licensing, insurance, qualifications, pricing, scope, contracts, safety and local legal requirements before work begins.

When a customer selects an interested business, TradieMargin may reveal the customer contact details supplied for that job to the selected business so the parties can communicate. Those contact details must be used only for the genuine job relationship and must not be sold, scraped, added to unrelated marketing lists or misused. A job may then move through selected, in-progress and completed states.

Credentials, licences and clearances

TradieMargin may allow businesses to display credential categories such as licences, checks, training or insurance. A status marked Verified means TradieMargin reviewed evidence made available through its verification process at a point in time. It does not mean TradieMargin is the issuing authority, guarantees the document remains valid, guarantees the holder is legally entitled or suitable to perform a particular job, or assumes responsibility for the business. Self-declared and pending credentials are not verified by TradieMargin.

Customers may mark supported credentials as Required or Preferred when posting a job. TradieMargin may prevent a business from expressing interest when its Marketplace profile does not contain a current credential in a Required category. This matching control is a convenience only and is not a substitute for the customer and business independently checking identity, licence class, scope, conditions, expiry, insurance, child-safety requirements and all other legal or site-specific requirements before work begins.

Businesses are responsible for keeping credential information current and accurate. Editing credential details may return the status to Self-declared until TradieMargin reviews updated evidence. TradieMargin may reject, expire, remove or change a credential status where evidence is insufficient, outdated, inconsistent or otherwise unsuitable for display.

Customer job access

Customers may access posted jobs using a secure passwordless email sign-in. A sign-in session only provides access to jobs associated with the authenticated email address. Private job-management links and Job References may remain available as backup recovery methods. Users are responsible for maintaining access to their email account and for not sharing private management links.

Customer account deletion

Customers who create a passwordless email-sign-in identity can initiate permanent customer-account deletion from My Posted Jobs → Account & privacy. Deleting the customer account removes the authentication identity and TradieMargin Marketplace jobs/data associated with that authenticated email from the active service, subject to limited legal, security and provider backup retention. Contact details already independently saved by a selected business cannot be remotely deleted from that business’s own records.

Verified ratings

After a marketplace job is marked completed, TradieMargin may allow the customer and the selected business to rate each other. Because the rating is tied to a completed TradieMargin marketplace job, it may be labelled as verified. Reviews must reflect genuine experience, remain factual and lawful, and must not contain threats, harassment, discriminatory abuse, private information that should not be published, or fabricated claims. TradieMargin may moderate, hide or remove reviews where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention or service integrity. Users can report jobs, listings, ratings or behaviour through the TradieMargin Support page. TradieMargin may investigate reports and restrict or remove content or marketplace access where reasonably necessary.

TradieMargin may calculate and display aggregate business ratings and may use customer reputation information within the marketplace. Ratings are opinions of users, not endorsements or guarantees by TradieMargin. TradieMargin may change Job Feed access, matching, priority, response limits or paid/free features over time. Any charge for a Job Feed feature will be shown before purchase and will not be imposed retrospectively on a job response already submitted.

7. Tradie Ideas / Feature Board

TradieMargin may provide a Feature Board where users can vote on proposed features and submit suggestions. Each Feature Board profile may have a limited number of active votes. Votes are a product-feedback signal only and do not create a promise, entitlement, delivery date or obligation to build a feature.

User-submitted suggestions are not published automatically. New suggestions may be screened, held for moderation, edited for clarity, merged with similar ideas, rejected or removed before becoming visible to other users. Objectionable, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit, unlawful, spam, abusive or privacy-invasive content is not permitted. TradieMargin may block a Feature Board profile from further submissions or voting where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse.

Users can report a visible Feature Board idea from within the app or contact TradieMargin Support. Feature statuses such as Suggested, Under Review, Planned, Building, Testing and Released describe current product planning only and may change. When an idea is marked Released, votes allocated to that idea may automatically become available for other ideas.

8. Availability and changes

Features may be improved, changed or removed over time. We aim to keep TradieMargin reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TradieMargin is provided without guarantees beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights that apply under Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory law.

10. Contact

For support or questions about these Terms, use the TradieMargin Support page.
